Who is Jimmy Carr’s girlfriend Karoline Copping?
Canadian-born Karoline is a commissioning editor for Channel 5 and the couple met during an audition for a panel show early in his career.
Jimmy once admitted during a Desert Island discs interview that he didn’t make a great first impression on the woman who would go on to be his long-term girlfriend.
He confessed he saw her writing about how he was a “one-note comedian with the eyes of a sex offender” in her notes.

Do they have children together?
Fans were surprised when Jimmy began including material about fatherhood in his most recent stand-up routines.
During a gig at the O2 Academy in Brixton, Carr reportedly joked: “I had to tell my little boy he’s adopted.”
“I mean, he isn’t, but the look on his face. I said, “no, no, no, you were adopted, the new family is picking you up tomorrow.”
He added that “we’re having a gender reveal party for our kid but we’re going to wait until he’s 21 just to be sure.”
The couple had already been pictured walking around with a pram numerous times since January 2020, but waited a long time to publicly confirm the big news.
In fact, Jimmy didn’t even reveal his son’s name until October 2021.
Jimmy recently found himself in hot water after making some less family-friendly jokes at a recent gig.
The comic was hit with backlash after being filmed calling a heckler a “f***ing retard” during a show at The Lighthouse in Dorset.
