Who is Fiona Bruce’s husband Nigel Sharrocks?

Nigel Sharrocks is 61 years old, and works as a non-executive chairman of Digital Cinema Media, an ad company that supplies cinema ads to be played in Cineworld, Odeon and Vue cinemas.

He’s also worked at Warner Bros Pictures UK, Aegis Media global and MediaCom.

Despite his career success, Sharrocks has always stayed out of the public eye.

In 2006, Fiona Bruce told the Guardian that her husband “is more than happy to be in the background”.

When did Fiona Bruce and Nigel Sharrocks get married?

Sharrocks met his wife Fiona when she briefly took a job at ad agency BMP, where he was acting as company director.

The couple married in Islington in 1994, and have enjoyed more than twenty-five years of wedded bliss since.

They live together in Belsize Park, London, and also own a home in Syndenham, Oxfordshire.

Do they have kids?

Bruce and Sharrocks share two adult children.

Their first child, a son named Sam, arrived in January 1998.

They then had a daughter, Mia, three years later in November 2001.

Bruce controversially decided to return to work just 16 days after Mia was born, shocking some viewers and sparking a debate in the press.

She responded by telling The Telegraph: “I’m not some mad career monster.

“I don’t want people to think I’m setting a terribly bad example here – the last thing I would advocate is women rushing back to work with a baby.”

She added that she was working part time and it was her own decision, not that of her bosses.

But she said in 2018 how returning to work did leave her with some guilt, adding that the family had the same nanny for 20 years to enable her to work.
