Venture launched for analysis of placer gold deposits in Indus River

ATTOCK: The Punjab Mines and Minerals Division, in collaboration with the Geological Survey of Pakistan, on Tuesday launched a venture for potential analysis of placer gold deposits within the Indus River in District Attock .

Further Secretary Mines and Minerals division Punjab Captain (Retd) Waqas Rasheed together with officers of the Geological Survey of Pakistan and Punjab Mines and Minerals division visited the positioning of the venture in River Indus at Attock Kurd.

Speaking to media individuals, Waqas Rasheed mentioned that the analysis venture could be accomplished at a price of Rs 48.2 million – an in depth report of which might be accomplished by June 2023.
