Man kills teenage daughter at Karachi metropolis courtroom over ‘honour’: police

KARACHI: A 19-year-old woman was shot useless over ‘honour’ by her father on the gates of Karachi Metropolis Courtroom on Monday for marrying of her free will, in response to Metropolis Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shabbir Ahmed Sethar.

Individually, SHO Panhwar clarified he was unsure as as to whether her husband was a health care provider.

The woman had reportedly acquired married in Orangi City. In keeping with Panhwar, {the teenager} had left her residence 10 days in the past, following which her father had lodged a report of kidnapping at Orangi’s Pirabad police station.

The SHO informed media that the woman was recovered on Sunday and in the course of the preliminary investigation, she informed police she had acquired married.

Her purported husband, Anis Rehman, was detained after the courtroom had already remanded him in judicial custody on Sunday, he added.
