Karachi admin fixes flour worth at Rs105 per kg

KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Mohammed Iqbal Memon on Saturday notified ex-mill and retail charges of wheat flour within the metropolis.

In accordance with a notification issued from the commissioner’s workplace, the wheat charge for millers is ready at Rs 95 per kg, whereas the ex-mills charge is mounted at Rs 98 per kg whereas the impartial chakki homeowners can promote flour at most Rs 105 per KG.

The commissioner instructed Deputy Commissioners (DC) and Assistant Commissioners (AC) to maintain a verify and steadiness of flour costs of their assigned areas.

He additional ordered to take authorized motion in opposition to flour mills, chakki mills, and retailers promoting wheat flour greater than the government-assigned charges.

“The mills must be sure and dedicated to promote the wheat flour on the charge of Rs95 per kg within the open market,” the notification said.
