Hoarded fertiliser seized | Pakistan Immediately

ISLAMABAD: The assistant commissioner of Chishtian metropolis in Bahawalnagar district raided a fertiliser godown and recovered 10,000 sacks of urea illegally saved by hoarders on Sunday.

The workplace of Rana Ghulam Murtaza mentioned the recovered sacks are price Rs50 million within the open market. He mentioned the recovered fertiliser can be offered to the farmers on the worth fastened by the federal government.

The godown was sealed after the raid, he added.

In a separate raid carried out by the assistant commissioner of Phalia, 8,000 wheat baggage have been recovered. The sacks have been handed over to the provincial meals division.

In the meantime, Punjab has attained 85 p.c of its wheat procurement goal and distributed baggage among the many farmers, mentioned a minister.
