ECP finalizes code of conduct draft for common elections

ISLAMABAD: The Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday has determined to seek the advice of political events on the code of conduct draft finalised for the upcoming common elections within the nation. As per particulars, the code of conduct draft for the following common elections within the nation has been finalsied and the ECP has summoned the pinnacle of 21 political events of the nation on February 2 for session and search their suggestions.

In line with media studies, CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja will chair the assembly on February 2 at 2pm for which invites to political events together with Pakistan Individuals’s Social gathering, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Muttahida Qaumi Motion-Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, Awami Nationwide Social gathering, Balochistan Nationwide Social gathering, Awami Muslim League, Jamhoori Wattan Social gathering, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pashtunkhwa PKMAP, Raah-e-Haq, Pakistan Muslim League-Practical and others. Earlier, the Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) wrote letters to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governors relating to the holding of elections in each provinces.

The ECP in its letters to Punjab and KP governors has prompt dates for holding elections in each provinces. The ECP has advisable Governor Baligh ur Rehman to carry elections in Punjab between April 09 to 13.

Equally, the election physique has advisable the KP governor for holding elections within the province between April 15 to 17, in line with the ECP letter.
