Some families may be eligible for up to $1,400 in stimulus aid in 2022.
Many families received help in the form of stimulus checks and payments after the passing of the American Rescue Plan this past March.
Many Americans are asking for a fourth check, but with the economy appearing to recover, that looks unlikely.

Some families are still waiting for those third checks though.
This means that since the IRS is still working on sending them out, some people will get theirs in 2022.
The final batch of payments are set to go out when people file their 2021 tax returns in 2022.

Another group of eligible people are those who had a child in 2021.
The checks sent in 2021 were based on 2019 and 2020 tax returns, so if you had a child in 2021 the IRS is unaware.
Eligibility is also based on income requirements.

Parents that file single cannot have income that exceeds $75,000. Married filers may not exceed $150,000.
If you make over that then your payments would be reduced or phased out.
The number of families getting checks due to newborns is still unknown, but it’s expected to be similar to the 3.61 million births in 2020.
